Robert Stollar

Science and Research Liaison

Mr. Stollar leads scientific research projects at Regenesis Management Group. Mr. Stollar has served as a consultant providing project management and technical assistance on projects related to groundwater resources, financial allocation of responsibility for remediation, contaminant hydrogeology, groundwater modeling, monitoring, aquifer remediation and the environmental impact of hazardous materials for a wide range of clients throughout the United States. Prior to this, he founded R.L. Stollar & Associates, an environmental and groundwater consulting firm, specializing in groundwater resources and contamination in 1983 where he acted as President and Chief Technical Officer from 1983 until he sold his firm to Watkins Johnson, Inc. in 1991. Mr. Stollar is a faculty affiliate and member of the Geoscience Advisory Council for the Geoscience Department, Warner College of Natural Resources, Colorado State University. He was the recipient of the Willem Rudolf’s Medal for an Outstanding Contribution on Industrial Waste Control, presented by the Water Pollution Control Federation; he received the Honor Alumnus and was Commencement Speaker, College of Natural Resources, Colorado State University; he was the Geological Society of America John F. Mann Mentor in Applied Hydrogeology and worked with California State University at Los Angeles, California State University at Fullerton, and Portland State University at Portland, Oregon. Mr. Stollar published the text book “Subsurface Migration of Hazardous Waste”, written by Devinny, J.S.; Everett, L.G.; Lu, C.S.; and Stollar, R.L., 1990. New York: Van Nostrand Reinhold. Mr. Stollar earned a Masters of Science degree in Geology with a specialty in Hydrogeology from Colorado State University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Geology from Hunter College, City University of New York. He is registered as a Geologist in several states including California and Wyoming and is a Certified Professional Hydrogeologist by the American Institute of Hydrology.
